A Means for Survival is an intimate exploration of personified structures. These object pairings represent various forms of power dynamics. Some objects bring out a sense of reliance and vulnerability, while their counterparts play a more dominant role. These easily personified domestic items suggest imbalance, influence, dependance and sometimes violence. The mechanics of how people interact with each other and the space around them is an act of survival.
